| Well we made it to 2009. Hopefully the year will be good even with my hours getting cut at work for a little while. I'm sure it won't be too bad.
Anyways Scott and I rung in the New Year with my family and we played games like we normally do to keep us awake 'til midnight. We played the name game which was really fun. I think everyone enjoyed it. We also played Jenga and it got pretty tall. There was another game called left right center which was pretty fun too.
The next day we went back over to have breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage, sausage links & and the very yummy hashbrowns. After breakfast, we played Mad Gab and Yahtzee. Everyone got a little tired and stopped playing. Then I played Guess Who with my Aunt Karen. That was probably the best game I played that day. Simple and fun.
Yep, you guessed it. I love games. It's just hard to find other people who want to play too. =P But that's okay.
When we got home, Scott played Yahtzee with me. I think when we were playing at my grandma's house, there were too many people playing so it seemed like it took forever for it to be your turn. Anyways, I was happy to be able to play it with Scott. I didn't think he would want to.
Then I turned on the TV to see what was on. So I watched Thou Shalt Laugh and the first guy I saw was Jeff Allen who is my new favorite comedian. He just was sooooooo funny. I couldn't stop laughing. If you don't know who he is, you should definately look him up. I can almost guarantee that you will enjoy him.
Alright, until next time, I'm signing off.

| So I finally got brown shoes to match my brown outfits. I have been wearing my black shoes with brown for a while now. (a big "no no" I might add) But my brown pants are too long to wear flats which my brown shoes have no heel in them. I'm not much of a fan of heels. They hurt my feet too much. I'd much rather wear flip flops every day of the week if I could. I'm more into comfortable shoes or none at all. ;) I'll have to learn to hem. If I shop in the petite section then the pants are too short and if I shop in the regular section then they are normally too long....it's kind of a lose lose situation and being 5'5 is right in the middle of the spectrum it seems. Not much going on right now. Just doing a lot of graduation banners. So far I've done about 50 in the past 2 weeks and still have 30 to do. And a lot more. But tis the season. It's only hard because I have my normal work flow along with the banners. So therefore I work as much as possible when I get there and try to get things done in a timely manner. Btw if you want to check out the banner site, it is anytimebanners.com where you can build your banner. Hope all is well with everyone. |

| Mom's 50th is coming up...and I have to plan something for her. My sister and brother kind of leave it up to me. I planned the party for my parent's 25th anniversery and spent a lot of money on it like 4 months before my wedding when I had to save everything for that. They didn't help me. I guess they couldn't but my sister is older than me so I found it kind of strange that I had to do everything. But now I don't have the money to do much for her...and I need my sister's help at least. My dad probably won't be able to do anything for her either... Anyways my Grandma mentioned it to me last weekend. I've been kind of struggling with money lately...mostly because of christmas and Scott's birthday. Don't get me wrong, I do want to do something special for her... I just don't have the money. I don't think my sister will take care of it this time though...and my brother is only 13. So I'll have to figure something out. Scott and I now both have a computer. That was our big thing for Christmas. We also got a headboard and a queen size bed thanks to Scott's parents. Thank you! So yeah we've gotten a lot within a month. And now I've started looking for a house but I'm not really sure if we'll get one this year. We have until June when our lease is up. It would be nice though to know that you're not just throwing your money away with rent. And the famous tax season...it comes so fast. Lol I don't like it. =P |

| ...and cable. I'm glad because now I can pay my bills online and things like that. I changed my look to my xanga and I changed the picture finally. I might be updating a little bit more now that I have the freedom to do so. Bailey, Scott and I are doing good. We all went to my sister's yesterday to carve pumpkins and mine already died (caved in). I did Carrie Underwood and surprisingly it really looked like her. Anyways Scott didn't like his so we just threw both of them away. =( But that's alright. We got two more pumpkins that are a little bigger and picture perfect. The pickings were bad the first time we went to get pumpkins so they were quite small but the new ones are alot better. Maybe they will hold for a little longer. ..I hope. We'll just do them near the end of the week. Below is a video of Bailey in action when he was about a month old. He was soooooo cute! ...and still is but you know..=)

| Bailey is almost perfect now. Just a few kinks here and there but he is no longer going in his cage so we don't have to clean it every night anymore. The only problem we really have with him is that he barks at people and you really don't know if he's going to let the person pet him or if he's going to bark at them and try to jump at them. I'm so bad at disciplining him right away and scott gets after me about it. But we shall see if Bailey gets better. I want him to be able to be around strangers without having to worry. |
